Katie Versace

Katie Versace is a Canadian watercolourist and illustrator, best known for her delicate nature themed artworks.

  
Born in Ottawa, Versace's art practice fully began during her studies at the University of Ottawa (BFA with Departmental Honours). During her time there she was the recipient of the Persephone award for her graduating art showcase, Delicate Deaths (2016). In her final year Versace specialized in painting and began her exploration of her preferred medium, watercolour.

Katie Versace is an artist working out of Ottawa, Ontario and her original watercolour works reflect her home. Surrounded by the organic beauty of Canada, Versace explores themes focused around animals, plants, bones, celestial bodies, and the cycles found within the natural world. 

Currently focusing on building a collection of works, Katie Versace intends to continue creating watercolour paintings and original layered watercolour collages.
